Energy Upgrade California™ helps Los Angeles County homeowners make home upgrades to reduce energy use, conserve resources and create more comfortable and efficient homes. Participating homeowners may be eligible for up to $4,500 in rebates and incentives.
The program offers an online “one-stop-shop” to guide you through the upgrade process:
- Selecting a package that suits your project
- Finding an energy advisor or contractor to do the work
- Applying for rebates, incentives or financing to help pay for it
Who can participate?
New construction is not eligible. Renters are not eligible. The multi-family residential buildings program is currently full and is not accepting applications at this time.
Energy Upgrade California in Los Angeles County is an alliance among Los Angeles County, Southern California Edison and Southern California Gas Company. The Energy Upgrade California incentives and rebates will vary in the cities of Los Angeles, Pasadena, Glendale, Burbank, Long Beach, Azusa and some utility energy efficiency retrofit rebates/incentives are available. For residents of the City of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power and Southern California Gas Company will provide a local rebate/incentive for some home energy upgrades.
